Introduction: A permanent career opportunity has arisen for a trainee or qualified Health and Social Care assessor to cover the black country.

The Job:

A private training provider is looking to grow their team of Health & Social Care Assessors. Based from their offices in Cannock the role will be to cover the black country area delivering Health and Social Care QCF at levels 2 and 3.

This exciting position will allow you to draw on your experience of the Health & Social Care industry to provide learners in their workplaces with support and training, enabling them to realise their career potential.

Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their Apprenticeship and Diploma qualifications
  • Maintaining documentation on learners and preparing portfolios
  • Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners
  • Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards
  • Working closely with Verifiers and Management

The ideal candidate will have a managerial level background in Health and Social Care. Ideally you will also have your level 3 qualification and/ or assessors award and/ or PTLLS. The ability to work independently and manage your own time is essential.

In return you will receive a starting salary of £17000-19000, 33 days holiday including bank holidays and a company pension. Expenses will be covered on a basis of 40p/mile from the Cannock office.
