Do you have experience as a Chef (Sous Chef or Head Chef level) preferably with some experience front of house as well? Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to move into NVQ assessing or an opportunity to further your career as an Assessor?

This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the hospitality industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their workplaces, enabling them to realise their career potential. This role will be based from an office in Fareham and will involve covering the Hampshire area. Responsibilities include:

• Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their NVQ qualifications
• Maintaining documentation on learners' records
• Liasing with Learners, Verifiers and Management
• Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards

The successful candidate will ideally already be a D32/D33 or A1 qualified assessor however this is not essential as full support in obtaining the Assessing qualification will be provided. This role would suit someone who has the ability to work with and support a range of learners and has experience of the hospitality industry as a Sous Chef or Head Chef (in addition to senior chef experience, front of house experience would also be preferable but is not essential). It is also essential that you are able to work independently, manage your own time and cover the Hampshire area to visit different workplaces. A driving license is essential.

You will receive an excellent salary and benefits package, including a starting salary of £18,000- £20,500, company vehicle after 6 months, 25 days holiday and healthcare benefits.
